Emine Sadka

Emine Sadka is a writer and journalist. Her debut novel “Caravan of Ravens” was nominated for various national literary awards, and in 2025 it was published in Spain and is currently being translated into seven more languages. In her public appearances, Emine often expresses the importance of decentralization of the cultural environment and equal access to education in the periphery of Bulgaria. She spends a large part of her life as a volunteer at festivals in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Poland. In the period from 2017-2020 she organized events using Bulgaria’s cultural heritage as a stage for contemporary art. She currently lives between Amsterdam, Sofia and the village of Garvan, often traveling with musical bands throughout Europe.
