She describes herself as an open field where movement happens – slowly, gradually, with a constant pull, sometimes also abruptly, intuitively, as a kind of surprise. A choreographer, teacher and performer. She is part of the STEAM ROOM creative team along with Alexander Georgiev and Dario Damas, and their work has been shown in Bulgaria, Northern Macedonia, Sweden and Spain.
Favorite movement
I never had to make the decision to devote myself to dance, I simply live it with its full palette of emotions, awareness and mistakes. Movement is my way of life, otherwise I can't function very well.
Contemporary dance...
I had the opportunity to have Petya Stoykova as my first teacher, she is also the choreographer of the Dune Dance Company. So at a very early age I became acquainted with their work and encountered modern dance. And it was the most exciting thing to me with its totality, ideas, parameters, breadth and possibilities of movement.

Here...
... dance culture is evolving. The public space of contemporary dance depends on the work itself, on the context in which it is created or in which it will be presented. Mixing contexts certainly increases visibility. More audience members doesn't always mean better work.
Projects with a capital P
I love being on stage. I am at my calmest there. Every project has the potential of becoming my favorite. Not everything I've been involved in has matched my personal aesthetic preferences or my understanding of how to work with art. But if I get involved in something, whatever it is, I give it my 100%. I dedicate myself to it and trust the people I work with as a performer and dancer. I am quite picky when it comes to my work as an author and choreographer and I am rarely truly satisfied with it. With STEAM ROOM, there are three co-authors and the parameters are different.
In the future
I want to keep working as a dancer, performer, author and co-author. I would like to slowly return to teaching. A year ago STEAM ROOM launched the initiative ICC / Imaginary Choreographic Center, and our current performances are
dragON aka PHOENIXand
dragON aka PONY. I perform as part of the
Impossible Actions by Yassen Vassilev (I hope these will continue), and in October I will premiere my next choreographic concert
Dance baby, dance, whose team will soon be announced. I am about to work with Alexander Georgiev on
S-hole, which will premiere in November.
